The spoken language is English, and Netflix offers audio dubbing and subtitles in several language including German, Spanish, French and Italian. There may be more language options available in your area.
It's rated TV-14. Technically, that means some of subject matter may not be suitable for children ages 13 and under. Realistically, the entire family can enjoy but younger viewers may have a few questions.
Season 3 comes with a new warning attached. If you’re sensitive to flashing lights, of which there are a lot, be ready to avert your eyes.

...we were warned
A lot of the time, journalists are given special access to advanced screenings to shows and movies. And, as media, there is often an embargo imposed on reviews until a specified date. Meaning, journalists are asked to respect the wishes of the distributor and keep silent until given the okay to publish. This is common practice in the movie business.
In a few cases, we are also "respectfully asked" to not disclose specific storylines and spoilers. Ever.
Such is the case for "Stranger Things 3".
No one wants to be the asshat who spoils an ending or a storyline that was specifically written to evoke strong emotions from fans. I, certainly, don't want to be that guy.
So, I'll speak in general terms even though I don't consider myself a real journalist (I still giggle when someone calls me that). I'm a fan, like you.
...you were warned
If you've been following any of the stars on social media recently, it's been hinted that season 3 is going to emotional. I've known that since about June of 2018 - shortly after the first cast table read (of scripts).
Nearly every cast member has made comments about what to expect or how emotional it was on set during filming. We have some of those videos posted on our Pinterest page. In November, 2018, after the final scene was filmed, MIllie Bobby Brown posted pictures and videos of her sobbing.
Stranger Things is growing up with its cast. The storylines are getting more complex; more mature. Just like life itself.
The oft-repeated quote from Mike Wheeler in the latest trailer, "We're not kids anymore," is a warning. So is the series tagline, "One summer can change everything." They are warnings to the FANDOM that changes are on the way. And, like the changes we all go through growing up, they are going to happen whether we like it or not.
...some explanation
There are dozens of homages to the great action movies of the 80s. More than the first two seasons combined, I think. Some of my friends 10-years younger didn't get any of the references. I was 14 in 1985, and I got every allusion and inside joke. Some scenes will play-out like it's "Midnight Run" or "Beverly Hills Cop" (if you're under 18, that means nothing to you).
...buy why tho?
You either like the show or you don't. Reviews and opinions matter not. For me, I watch the show because of the story and the era in which it's based.
Watch the credits of the final episode. There's an extra scene added. That may settle your emotions a little.
You're welcome.
