Each year, movie studios enter their top films into award competitions worldwide. From September through February, during what’s known as “Awards Season,” they submit their best work to festivals and industry events “For Your Consideration” (FYC). The goal of these FYC campaigns is to generate buzz and recognition for the films, aiming to earn praise not just from critics and peers, but from audiences as well.
8FLiX isn’t in the business of giving out awards—we’re not a studio. But we do showcase plenty of award-winning screenplays and scripts from binge-worthy TV series that we’ve labeled “FYC.”
Our FYC section shines a spotlight on select films and shows, offering deeper insights. You’ll find details like cast information, links to trusted sources, and updates on production status—all aimed at providing super-fans with accurate information, without any misleading clickbait or rumors.
Time is running out!
Soon, we’ll be phasing out the “FYC” section of 8FLiX. While we’ll keep updating the series already featured there, like “Stranger Things” and “Percy Jackson,” we won’t be adding any new content to this area. This shift allows us to concentrate our efforts on expanding our screenplay database.
