A screenplay is a written work by screenwriters for film and video game productions. Its principal format and layout are universally understood by industry performers and workers at all levels. And it is this very unique style that separates screenplays from novels.

A teleplay is very similar to a screenplay. The exception being that teleplays are often written for multi-camera episodic television. We explain in greater detail inside.

The television transcripts that we have at 8FLiX are a word-for-word record of spoken dialogue. Also, for certain series, they may also include descriptions of effects and other relevant sounds.
