Some Details on "Avatar 2."
The multi-decade colossus of Cameron's "Avatar" franchise is set to rise again on December 16, 2022. With sequels premiering every two years after that.
"Avatar 5", the purported finale, is scheduled to be released on December 22, 2028.
However, Cameron also invents the missing technology he needs to make his movies. So we may be waiting even longer. The timing of the releases also do not include unplanned work stoppages.
The budget for all five epics, although not official, is likely to be in excess of $2 billion (USD).
