Screenplays Featuring: ‘Gen X’ Era Stories

One of many ‘History’ subgenres.

Neither a ‘mood’ nor a ‘tone,’ these scripts have a specific style of filmmaking that relates to a ‘Primary Genre’ and subgenre.

Scripts under the ‘Gen X’ subgenre feature stories that take place during the 1960s until about the mid-1980s. Stories may include narratives set during the era, but may not be specific to the time itself. For example, The Wedding Singer (1998) was set during the 1980s, but the story was about Robbie and Julia and their blossoming relationship.
