Neither a ‘mood’ nor a ‘tone,’ these scripts have a specific style of filmmaking that relates to a ‘Primary Genre’ and subgenre.

Scripts under the ‘Monsters’ subgenre include stories that focus on characters struggling to survive attacks by antagonistic, abnormally large monsters. Godzilla (2014), Rim of the World (2019), and The Mummy (1999) are examples from this subgenre.
