Born: May 6, 1915. Considered to be among the greatest and most influential filmmakers of all time, Orson Welles was a director, actor, and writer, known for Citizen Kane (1941), The Lady from Shanghai (1947), Touch of Evil (1958), and The Trial (1962). Orson passed away October 10, 1985.
