Screenplays Featuring: ‘WWI’ Stories
One of many ‘History’ subgenres.
Neither a ‘mood’ nor a ‘tone,’ these scripts have a specific style of filmmaking that relates to a ‘Primary Genre’ and subgenre.
Scripts under the ‘WWI’ subgenre feature stories about the war. World War I or the First World War, often abbreviated as WWI or WW1, and referred to by some Anglophone authors as the ‘Great War’ or ‘War to End All Wars,’ was a global conflict which lasted from 1914 to 1918, and is considered one of the deadliest conflicts in history. Dates: July 28, 1914 – November 11, 1918.
We’ve said it before, but it bears repeating: stories may include narratives set during the era, but may not be specific to the time itself.
