Transcripts to screenplays...

You may have noticed that I have started replacing some of the dialogue transcripts with screenplays/actual scripts. I hope to get this completed by March 2020.

Just one more thing...

So, this is a transcription of the spoken dialogue and audio. You'll also notice a time-code reference. As a result, this version may not be exactly as written in the original script. But, the intellectual property is still reserved by the original source and may be subject to copyright. 8FLiX provides all of this to you without cost for your entertainment, convenience, and study.

And you know what else? Because we understand that there are about 6 billion people who do not speak English, we've added something special. Some of our complete series scripts are also available in other languages. For example, Français, Español, Deutsche and Italiano versions may also be at hand! If not, just ask us for it!

“Stranger Things” & The Neverending Story Song

Dusty-Bun & Suzie-Poo Singalong. "Stranger Things 3" and "The NeverEnding Story" Song.

It's so cheesy. It's so damn annoying. Written by the man dubbed "The Father of Disco", Giorgio Moroder's 80s tune "The NeverEnding Story" is popular once again. We have the song lyrics and the clip from "Stranger Things 3, Chapter Eight: The Battle of Starcourt". Try Millie Bobby Brown's #NeverendingChallenge.

In the episode, Dustin's girlfriend, 'Suzie-Poo' (Gabriella Pizzolo - that's her in the featured image), demands to 'hear it.' What it is, we don't really know. That is, until 'Dusty-Bun' starts to sing the - dare I say - 'classic' song from the 1984 fantasy movie, "The NeverEnding Story."

Gaten Matarazzo shows off his other talent - singing. As any "Stranger Things" fan will tell you, he can really sing. Gaten played Gavroche in Broadway's revival of Les Miserables. And, he also has a band called Work in Progress.

Poster from the 1984 movie starring Noah Hathaway & Barret Oliver.

As bothersome as the song is now (as an 80s child, I was once totally fine with it), Gaten does have a beautiful voice so one can't not listen to it. At least once.

Here Are the Lyrics to "The NeverEnding Story" Song...

Turn around
Look at what you see
In her face
The mirror of your dreams
Make believe I'm everywhere
Given in the light
Written on the pages
Is the answer to a never ending story
Ah

Reach the stars
Fly a fantasy
Dream a dream
And what you see will be
Rhymes that keep their secrets
Will unfold behind the clouds
And there upon a rainbow
Is the answer to a never ending story

Ah
Story
Ah

Show no fear
For she may fade away
In your hand
The birth of a new day
Rhymes that keep their secrets
Will unfold behind the clouds
And there upon a rainbow
Is the answer to a never ending story

Ah
Never ending story
Ah
Never ending story
Ah
Never ending story
Ah

If you haven't yet watched the entire third season of "Stranger Things", stop now! This article contains a spoiler without context - but a spoiler non-the-less! But, if you want a good, messy cry - read on. The following is a word-for-word transcript of Hopper's beautiful speech for Mike & Eleven.

"Stranger Things" stars: David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown and Winona Ryder. For a more extensive look at who's who, check out our series information page HERE.

Like Any Good Dad, Hopper Asked a Mother for Advice...

To set this up briefly, Hopper was trying to have a "heart-to-heart" with El and Mike (Chapter One: Suzie, Do You Copy?). The decision to have this talk came after 6-months of the cute couple spending all day everyday together. A lot of that together time in Eleven's room making out.

So, like any good (responsible) dad, Hopper went to a mother to ask advice. Joyce suggested having a "heart-to-heart" with the kids to set some boundaries. Hopper wrote a speech and prepared himself to give it.

But, Hopper tried to talk to the kids. He just couldn't get the words out. Here's what he wanted to say.

Grab Some Tissues, Here's Hopper’s Touching Speech for Mike & Eleven...

There's something I've been wanting to talk to you both about. I know this is a difficult conversation, but I care about you both very much. And I know that you care about each other very much. And that's why it's important that we set these boundaries moving forward, so we can build an environment where we all feel...comfortable...trusted...and open...to sharing our feelings.

Feelings. Feelings. Jesus...

The truth is, for so long, I'd forgotten what those even were. I've been stuck in one place, in a cave, you might say. A deep, dark cave. And then, I left some Eggos out in the woods, and you came into my life and for the first time in a long time, I started to feel things again. I started to feel happy.

But, lately, I guess I've been feeling distant from you. Like you're pulling away from me or something. I miss playing board games every night making triple-decker Eggo extravaganzas at sunrise, watching westerns together before we doze off.

But I know you're getting older...

Growing. Changing.

And I guess if I'm being really honest, that's what scares me. I don't want things to change. So, I think maybe that's why I came in here, to try to maybe stop that change. To turn back the clock. To make things go back to how they were.

But I know that's naive...

It's just not how life works. It's moving. Always moving, whether you like it or not. And, yeah, sometimes it's painful. Sometimes it's sad. And sometimes it's surprising. Happy.

So, you know what? Keep on growing up, kid. Don't let me stop you. Make mistakes, learn from 'em, and when life hurts you, because it will, remember the hurt. The hurt is good. It means you're out of that cave.

But, please, if you don't mind, for the sake of your poor old dad, keep the door open three inches.

Go ahead. Let it out. Have a good cry. Download a copy of the speech from us HERE. And thank the Duffer Brothers for the blubbering mess you're in now. They wrote it.
