Bodyguard follows retired British soldier-turned-police officer David Budd as he struggles with mental illness while trying to keep the country's most controversial politician out of harm's way.

Sgt. David Budd is promotes to a protection detail for UK Home Secretary Julia Montague, but he quickly clashes with the hawkish politician.

After an attempted attack on the school Budd’s kids attend, Montague worries about leaks in the department. But she may be in the line of fire herself.
