The Black List 2016 was compiled from the suggestions of over 250 film executives. Each of whom contributed the names of up to ten favorite unproduced scripts from this calendar year.
Of 73 screenplays chosen to be a part of the annual Black List, we have 72 available to download and study.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that, as of this writing, eighteen, 2016 Black List scripts have been made into feature films.
WHAT IS THE BLACK LIST
Since 2005, each December, the Black List releases its annual list, a survey of the most liked unproduced screenplays of that year. The annual lists are aggregated using votes from film executives working in the film industry.blklst.com
